How long are second valid passports valid?
Second valid passports are limited validity passports, valid for two years from the date of issuance. They may be renewed, provided the traveler can show travel plans that indicate a continued need for a second valid passport.
Will my second valid passport have the same passport number as my other passport?
Your second valid passport is not a duplicate passport. It will be issued with a different passport number, and will also have different dates of issuance and expiration.
Can I use the same photograph that is on my current passport?
No, you will need to submit a new photograph. The photograph you submit must have been taken no more than six months ago.
